Suitable applicants are contacted as positions become available. Full-time positions are limited but vacancies are posted occasionally. Please note that if you are interested in working in one of our program areas, you must have valid certifications in CPR, First Aid and AED. Rehabilitation to Community Program Instructor

As part of the Access & Awareness team, the Rehabilitation to Community Program Instructor assists in the delivery of the Rehabilitation to Community program to participants of varied abilities, including measuring and tracking participant progress, while promoting and encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle. Rehabilitation to Community Program Instructor

Grassroots Coach for Flames Swim Team

Variety Village has an opening within our pre-competitive Flames program for a dedicated, experienced Grassroots Coach, to motivate, engage and inspire swimmers at the entry level. Grassroots Coach Flames Swim Team

Grassroots Coach Sunshine Swim Team

Variety Village has an opening within our Pre-competitive Sunshine program for a Grassroots Coach.  This is a part time, contract position and would be suitable to an employee already working at Variety Village due to the limited time commitment per week. Grassroots Coach Sunshine Swim Team

Aquatics Instructors and Lifeguards

We have immediate openings for several Lifeguard and Swimming Instructors on a part-time basis. Applicants should possess one or more of the relevant qualifications below:

  • Previous experience working with people with varying disabilities (an asset)
  • National Lifeguard
  • Red Cross Water Safety Instructors
  • Royal Life Instructors
  • AED
  • NCCP Level 1
