On Call Outreach Assistant

Variety Village is currently seeking an Outreach Program Assistant to provide support to the department by assisting with the delivery of Outreach programs and activities to schools, community groups and organizations. Program delivery takes place either onsite at Variety Village and at offsite locations. Specific training is provided for successful incumbents.  Hours for this position are offered hours on an “as required” basis.

LINKS Day Program Assistant

One of Variety Village’s programs is the Adult Day Program. This program supports young adults by focusing on increasing independence, self-esteem and active living through physical fitness. Artistic Swim Coaches

Variety Village is seeking a several qualified applicants for a number of Artistic Swimming coaching vacancies within the Variety Village Athletic Club Artistic Swimming team for the upcoming 2019-2020 Season. Aquatics Instructors and Lifeguards

We have immediate openings for several Lifeguard and Swimming Instructors on a part-time basis. Applicants should possess one or more of the relevant qualifications below:

  • Previous experience working with people with varying disabilities (an asset)
  • National Lifeguard
  • Red Cross Water Safety Instructors
  • Royal Life Instructors
  • AED
  • NCCP Level 1

Registered Massage Therapist

Reporting to the Director, Programs, the incumbent in this role will be responsible for providing wellness solutions for Variety Village members and the general public through professional massage therapy. A thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities will be used to identify and apply specific therapies to meet the clients’ individual needs.
