Variety offers 1:1 support to individuals who may have needs that cannot be met in a 1:5 camper setting. The overall objective of the Support Supervisor is to enable campers to be fully integrated in a camp setting by adapting programming to each camper’s ability level.

In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting the Program Instructors in the planning and delivery of the MILESTONES program. This includes assisting with the curriculum planning, implementation of programming, and overseeing the activities of the participants who enjoy this program.

The primary responsibilities of the Multi-Sport Supervisor will be to keep an accurate record of campers, assist with registration and respond to any incidents that arise in the building during camp hours. In addition, the Multi-Sport Supervisor will be responsible for promoting the theme of the week to campers to encourage participation and excitement, and to encourage enthusiasm for the theme of the summer for Variety Camp Staff.

The Deck Supervisor is required to oversee all safe operations of Variety Village camps in the pool. The incumbent will also be responsible for the immediate orientation, and evaluation of staff and camp programs.

Variety Village has an opening within our pre-competitive Flames program for a dedicated, experienced Grassroots Coach, to motivate, engage and inspire swimmers at the entry level. Grassroots Coach Flames Swim Team
Variety Village has an opening within our Pre-competitive Sunshine program for a Grassroots Coach. This is a part time, contract position and would be suitable to an employee already working at Variety Village due to the limited time commitment per week. Grassroots Coach Sunshine Swim Team
We have immediate openings for several Lifeguard and Swimming Instructors on a part-time basis. Applicants should possess one or more of the relevant qualifications below:
- Previous experience working with people with varying disabilities (an asset)
- National Lifeguard
- Red Cross Water Safety Instructors
- Royal Life Instructors
- NCCP Level 1
