Program Registration

Registration is subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration for programs will be done by PHONE on the first day of registration for persons with disabilities.
General registration will be held IN PERSON.
Please note: registrants must meet the specified minimum age of the program within three weeks of program start.

Missed our phone-in registration?
Available spots can still be claimed using the methods below.

PHONE
Phone 416-699-7167 extension 246 during business hours and register by phone. In this case, payment is accepted only by credit card.

DROP-OFF
Drop off registration forms and payment at the reception desk during business hours. Accepted forms of payment include cash, debit, credit card or cheque.

FAX
Fax registration form to 416-699-3926 including a credit card number, three-digit security code and expiry date.

MAIL
Mail form and payment to: Membership Services, Variety Village, 3701 Danforth Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario M1N 2G2. *Please do not send cash in the mail.*

Please note: NSF (non-sufficient funds) cheques subject to a $25 administration fee.

Need to Know

For Your Safety

To ensure your health and safety, please make program staff aware of any medical conditions, medication requirements, behavioural issues, allergies or recent surgeries. All information is treated confidentially.

Withdrawals and Refunds

All registration cancellations and withdrawals must be completed prior to the program’s third class or day only. No refunds or credits are considered after this date. Refunds are prorated based on date of withdrawal, not on attendance in the program. A $15 administration fee is deducted per person, per program for all refunds, withdrawals, and credits. Requests must be submitted in person to the Membership Office at Variety Village, emailed to membership@varietyvillage.on.ca or faxed to 416-699-3926.

Pool Foulings

Due to situations beyond our control we may, on occasion, need to cancel a class with very short notice. We will do as much as possible to limit the amount of time the pool is closed, however we are not able to provide make-up classes for time missed.

Program Cancellation

Variety Village reserves the right to cancel or alter any programs, times, costs, or locations outlined in this guide without any notice, due to lack of registration, change of policy, availability of space, or instructors and special events. Refunds are issued for course cancellations only.

Waiting Lists

In case of full classes, you may choose to be added to a waiting list.

Transfers

There is no transfer fee to move from one program to another or one class to another. Transfers are not permitted for certification programs after the first two weeks or classes.

Non-Attendance Policy

If you decide to no longer attend or a medical condition prevents you from attending, please call 416-699-7167 ext 275 to withdraw from the program.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Notice to Members: Online Registration

Online program registration will allow our members to choose the class of their choice, register and pay all from the comfort of their own home or even online from their mobile phone. We are looking forward to having this functionality available to members who prefer using online services, but we will also take phone calls and our Membership Services Office are always happy to help too.

This project is a big change for Variety Village, it’s new and exciting and we want to get it right. We are currently working on choosing the right vendor who can fully meet our needs and build us a system that will not only allow for program registration, and in the future, membership renewals; other payments and purchases; and online donations.

This project has already started and we are working hard to get a system ready for testing by the Summer registration session. To test our new system we will be working with a small group of members, who will be part of a pilot group to give us feedback onour new product.

We will keep you up to date with our project and look forward to engaging with you online in the very near future.
