Accessibility at Variety Village

At Variety Village, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for everyone. Our goal is to ensure that every person with a disability can access our programs, services, and facilities with dignity and independence.

Our Commitment

In 2005, the Ontario government passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), establishing mandatory accessibility standards across the province. The Accessibility Standards for Customer Service came into effect on January 1, 2008, applying to all businesses in Ontario. Compliance reporting began in 2010 for corporations and 2012 for not-for-profit organizations.

Variety Village meets the requirements of the AODA Customer Service Standard and continuously works to improve accessibility across all areas of our organization.
