Athletic Teams

For more than 40 years, the Variety Village Athletic Club (VVAC) has been creating opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities to learn, grow, and compete. Since 1982, our integrated sports teams have supported athletes on their journey from learning fundamental skills to competing at the provincial, national, and international levels.

At VVAC, success is measured in many ways. Whether you're trying a sport for the first time, competing for fun, or pursuing high performance goals, you'll find expert coaching, inclusive programming, and a community that celebrates every achievement. Along the way, athletes build confidence, develop lifelong friendships, strengthen physical literacy and discover what they're capable of.

A Sport Pathway That Grows With Every Athlete

At Variety Village, our inclusive sport programs are designed to grow with each athlete. Guided by the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, athletes progress through age- and developmentally-appropriate programs that build physical literacy, confidence, and sport-specific skills.

Whether an athlete is just getting started, participating recreationally, or pursuing competitive sport, our clear pathway supports every stage of their journey. With opportunities to transition between program levels, competitive teams, leadership, coaching, and volunteering, athletes of all abilities can continue to learn, grow, and achieve their personal goals in an inclusive and accessible environment.

Support Our Teams

Every athlete deserves the opportunity to train, compete, and discover what they’re capable of. Your support helps remove financial barriers by funding specialized equipment, coaching, competition fees, travel, and athlete development across all Variety Village Athletic Club teams.

Together, we can help athletes of all abilities build confidence, achieve personal bests, and pursue their goals both on and off the field of play.
