Reggie began his association with Variety Village at four years of age, where he excelled at numerous sports, including lacrosse, wheelchair basketball, and sledge hockey. He still volunteers here to this day, most recently with our Golf Fore Kids Charity Golf Tournament.
One of Canada’s top high performance golf coaches, Reggie has an extensive professional and amateur golf playing and coaching background. He’s won the Ontario Junior Golf Tournament four times, both a juvenile and a junior. He also attended Virginia Commonwealth University on a full golf scholarship, where his team won 17 NCAA tournaments. While there, he was named both ‘Rookie’ and ‘Athlete of the Year’ by the CAA Conference.

Prior to turning Pro in 2000, Reggie also had a successful amateur career. He’s won 21 tournaments as a pro, and played in the Canadian Tour, Hooters Tour, and Nationwide Tour from 2000-2004. In 2004, he was invited to the PGA. He won the prestigious Monroe Invitational Amateur Tour, and he finished top-25 in the Canadian Professional Tour Masters Tournament. He also represented Canada both at the World Amateur Masters in Germany and at the Four Nations Cup in Australia. In addition to his golf career, Reggie is a four-time provincial lacrosse champion, and was named Best High School Lacrosse Goalie.
His coaching career has been equally rewarding. He’s coached the Canadian Jr. Champions, the Ontario Amateur Champions, and numerous Provincial Jr. Champions. He currently coaches at Peak Performance Golf, where he’s been since 2012.
In 2018, Reggie was inducted into his hometown, Peterborough’s District Sports Hall of Fame.
